For The Sun, Tracey took her partner and Miss Babs to the Yorkshire Dales — freshly relit by the Margot Robbie / Jacob Elordi Wuthering Heights remake — for the 150-year-old Settle–Carlisle railway, Malham Cove and one very muddy trudge to Gordale Scar.
Filmed largely in Swaledale and the village of Low Row, the new Wuthering Heights adaptation had the Yorkshire Dales teeming with yearning Cathys again — so Tracey took herself, her partner and Miss Babs the dog up for a properly Gothic weekend. For The Sun she based herself at The Golden Lion in Settle (Thwaites on tap, Settle pudding on the menu), rode the 150-year-old Settle–Carlisle railway ("England's most scenic") up to Dent — the highest railway station in England — and wobbled back from three pints at the Sportsman Inn. Muddy trudges to Malham Cove and Gordale Scar (which Netflix used for The Witcher) followed, before a fittingly Gothic finish. B&B doubles from £130; single train fare £4.60.
