About
Hello, I'm Tracey.
I'm a freelance travel journalist, author and comedian based in Brighton. For more than a decade I've written about travel, culture and the funny side of being human for the UK's national newspapers and a long list of magazines.
My work moves easily between a sharp destination feature, a first-person essay and a punchline — which means I'm just as at home filing copy on deadline as I am hosting a festival panel or doing a stand-up set about the indignities of budget air travel.
I co-wrote Wayward Women with Rhonda Carrier, and I'll happily talk to anyone who'll listen about women, travel and the joy of going the wrong way on purpose.
