She loaded her 18-year-old son Angus and 14-year-old twin daughters Nancy and Lola into a Bongo camper and snaked down France's Atlantic coast to Le Ruisseau des Pyrenees (pitches from €24, ten minutes from Biarritz). The teens bodyboarded Plage de Bidart, Angus surfed Grande Plage and Plage de la Côte des Basques properly, and the whole family ducked across the Spanish border to San Sebastián for pintxos. Salt-flecked bodies, Fat Willy's T-shirts, and — for once — nobody bickering.
